Call into the Lightning Ridge Visitor Information Centre to access a range of information for the tourist and traveller alike, including maps of the town and region, brochures and souvenirs. The cheery staff will be happy to provide you with information on local and regional attractions, upcoming events, assistance with accommodation, road conditions and other services as required.
Whilst your at the centre feel free to try your hand a fossicking for Opals in their free fossicking heap, take a stroll through the local gardens and children's play area or use the free barbecues.
