Bermagui's spectacular harbour hums with activity as well as natural beauty. Watch as the fishing boats unload their catch and take a stroll along the foreshore to Bermagui Fishermen's Wharf, Bruce Steer Pool and Bermagui Point.
Explore Bermagui Fishermen's Wharf and retail precinct in the heart of the harbour. Sit and enjoy a coffee or lunch as you watch the fishermen come and go, and wander the boutique shops and galleries featuring local artists and wares.
A fishing Mecca within Australia, Bermagui Harbour offers access to the continental shelf, which is only 11 nautical miles (about 20 kilometres) away. The shelf is home to a huge number of fish species including all the big predators.
To help you get out amongst the wild things, charter boats operate out of Bermagui Harbour all year round, offering fishing packages that can be tailored to suit your needs.
Fishing facilities include a three lane boat ramp, wash down area, lights, cleaning stations, fuel and amenities.
For an epic marine adventure, jump on a wildlife cruise with Sapphire Coastal Adventures to Barunguba (Montague Island), encountering dolphins, seals, penguins and soaring sea birds. Whale watching season runs from August to November, with tours running daily.
