NSW Seniors Festival

The festival celebrates the role and contributions of older adults to our local communities. It's the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, with over 500,000 people attending each year.

The NSW Seniors Festival will run from 2-15 March 2026. The theme of the festival is Live life in colour!

Who is the NSW Seniors Festival for?

The festival is for people aged 60+, or 50+ for Aboriginal people and people with a life-long disability.    

When is the NSW Seniors Festival?

The NSW Seniors Festival will take place from Monday 2 to Sunday 15 March 2026. During this time there will be events hosted across NSW. This includes the NSW Seniors Festival Expo which will take place on Wednesday 11 March to Thursday 12 March 2026. 

Where will the NSW Seniors Festival Expo take place?

The NSW Seniors Festival Expo 2026 will be held at the Exhibition Hall 3, ICC Sydney: International Convention and Exhibition.

Are NSW Seniors Festival events free?

Yes, the NSW Seniors Festival Expo, comedy shows and Premier’s Gala Concerts are free. If you are visiting the expo, you can simply turn up on the day without a booking.

If you plan to attend a comedy show or the Premier’s Gala Concert you will need to register for a free ticket. 

How do I get to the ICC Sydney Theatre?

To get to the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, you can use public transport like the Light Rail (to Exhibition stop) or the train (10-minute walk from Central and Town Hall stations), ferry to Darling Harbour, or bus routes. Driving is also an option, with parking available, or you can take a taxi to Iron Wharf Place or Zollner Circuit. The ICC Sydney is located at 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000. 

Does the ICC accept cash?

No, the ICC is a cashless venue.

Are there any events on outside of Sydney?

The NSW Seniors Festival holds a range of concerts and events across the state to ensure everyone can participate.

The NSW Seniors Festival Comedy Shows and Christmas Concerts are held in different regions each year. In 2025 the Christmas Concerts will be held in Goulburn, Grafton and Port Macquarie. In 2026, there will be two comedy shows, one in Sydney and the second in regional NSW. Visit our what’s on page for more information. 

How do I register to be an exhibitor at the NSW Seniors Festival Expo?

When will tickets become available for the Premier’s Gala Concerts?

First release tickets will be on sale from January 2026.

More information about tickets and performers will be made available soon. 

Can I watch the Premier’s Gala Concerts online?

Yes, the Premier’s Gala Concerts will be available to live steam online. Details to register for the live stream will be made available soon.

Can I bring my carer to the events?

Yes, we welcome carers to attend our events but kindly remind them to register for a free ticket, so we can ensure there is enough seating for everyone.

Are the event venues accessible?

Yes, all our venues are accessible to visitors.

When registering for your free ticket/s to the Premier’s Gala Concerts and Comedy Shows, there is an option to book an accessible seat, which is at ground level.

Will there be an Auslan interpreter?

Yes, an Auslan interpreter will be present at the Premier’s Gala Concerts and Comedy Shows.
