Rent It Keep It
Rent It Keep It (RIKI) is an online training course about renting a place in NSW. It aims to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to find, secure, keep and leave or change a tenancy.
What the course covers
The course covers:
- practical resources and tools to help you find, apply for and keep a tenancy
- information about how to successfully leave or change a tenancy
- what you can and can’t do as a tenant
- what landlords and agents can and can’t do
- where to go if you need help.
Who is it for?
RIKI is for all NSW residents and is available in 6 languages. There is also a course that includes information about specific services and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
You can do the course at your own pace and go back to it when it suits you.
Once you finish the course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion which you can use to support your rental applications.
RIKI Classroom for service providers
A new classroom feature is now available for service providers to conduct face-to-face training sessions.
This feature allows providers to schedule classes, enrol participants, mark attendance, and print resources and certificates.
If you are a service provider and want to access RIKI Classroom, you can simply register your interest.
