NSW Women's Strategy 2023-2026
The vision of the NSW Women’s Strategy is that women and girls in NSW:
- live and work in a safe and fair society where they are treated with respect and dignity
- have equitable access to services, resources, opportunities and protections that enable them to thrive
The strategy identifies three priority areas for action:
- economic opportunity and advancement

2024 Report Card
The NSW Government is documenting the progress of the NSW Women’s Strategy 2023–2026 through annual report cards. This 2024 Report Cards establishes a baseline for the NSW Government to measure progress over time.
We will measure the impact of actions by:
- identifying key indicators for tracking long-term outcomes
- presenting baseline data that we will use in future reports to monitor our progress
- providing case studies on how we are implementing key actions in the strategy.
We are working towards providing more detailed data for monitoring progress across the key indicators for our focus communities, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls.
