NSW Government Response to Report into Reparations for the Stolen Generations

In 2016, the NSW Parliament's General Purpose Standing Committee 3 released the Report into Reparations for the Stolen Generations in New South Wales. It made 35 recommendations to address the enduring effects of past government practices in relation to the Stolen Generations. 

In the response, you can download below, the Government accepted the majority of the recommendations.

The 6 key response areas to the Stolen Generations report were:

• Monetary reparations
• Healing
• Tailored supports
• Guarding against repetition
• Cultural renewal
