The Community Supervision for Young People 18 Years and Over Policy provides the criteria for determining which division (Youth Justice NSW or Community Corrections NSW) will hold community supervision responsibilities when a young person:
- turns 18 while subject to a Youth Justice NSW supervised community order or
- is 18 years or over when released from custody on a supervised community order.
Youth Justice NSW is committed to working collaboratively with Community Corrections NSW to provide a continuity of service for young people with community-based supervision.
