This factsheet presents key comparisons between the 2009 and 2015 Young People in Custody Health Surveys. Although young people in 2015 had similar demographic profiles to those surveyed in 2009, there were significant differences between the two surveys with regard to young people who had unsettled accommodation or no fixed abode and young people who had used methamphetamines or cocaine. In addition, a greater proportion of young people in 2015 had a parent who had been in prison.
