The full report of the 2015 Young People in Custody Health Survey (YPICHS) provides a comprehensive assessment of adolescent detainee health in Australia. The 2015 survey extended the scope of the previous surveys by reporting on the impact of trauma exposure, speech and language deficiencies, as well as Aboriginal identity and cultural connectedness. Measurement of disability was also improved and expanded to include a screening tool for intellectual disability.
