Justice Health NSW staff have been recognised at the Annual Recognition and Award ceremony in Sydney.
The 2024 Awards were presented across 24 categories (including nursing, medical, allied health and administration) and recognised the hard work and outstanding commitment of health professionals across the state.
Justice Health NSW, Chief Executive, Wendy Hoey said the awards were an opportunity to acknowledge the difference that our staff make in the lives of our patients.
“The depth and quality of health professionals within Justice Health NSW never ceases to amaze me and I am extremely honoured to be the Chief Executive of this organisation.
“This year we received 190 nominations over 25 award categories, which was a 25 per cent increase on last year’s nominations and goes to show the fantastic work taking place across our organisation.
“Our staff support our patients to transform their lives. While much of this work goes unseen, this annual award ceremony enables us to shine a light on some of this exceptional work and to celebrate our amazing people.”

Chief Executive's Award – Hasanpreet Brar, Acting Regional Nurse Manager – Metro West Region
