The Geographical Names Board is seeking feedback on a proposal to name a reserve in Camden Local Government Area (LGA) as Deer Park.

What’s this about?

The Geographical Names Board (GNB) is seeking community feedback on a proposal by Camden Council to name a reserve Deer Park.

Deer Park is proposed for a reserve bounded by Christie Street, Deer Street, Brick Lane and Allambie Circuit in Oran Park. This park is located near the former Pondicherry Farm which was established in the 1950’s and was home to many farming activities including deer grazing.
