What’s this about?

Upgrades are proposed for the Pennant Hills Road and Carlingford Road intersection to ease congestion, and improve travel times and safety for all road users travelling through Carlingford.

More than 12,000 vehicles use this intersection during morning and afternoon peak times, causing traffic congestion.

The upgrades will include widening sections of Pennant Hills Road and Carlingford Road to make room for additional turning lanes.

The benefits of these upgrades will include:

  • improved traffic flow and performance at the intersection,
  • increased travel time for road users during peak times, and
  • improved road safety.

The wider community are invited to have their say about the concept design for this proposal.
