Non-urban water metering framework

What’s this about?

Members of the community are invited to comment on the review of the non-urban metering rules to make it quicker and easier for water users to comply.

The review will:

• ensure we have correctly identified what is and isn’t working
• the potential options to ease bottlenecks
• address the barriers are practical and easy to understand.

The consultation period will provide the opportunity for water users, stakeholders and other interested parties to learn more about potential options to address barriers to implementation, to make submissions and comment on the review.

Feedback and issues raised during the consultation period will be considered when finalising the review. 

Have your say

The Department of Planning and Environment Water staff will present a series of online information sessions to answer your questions and explain the potential options to ease bottlenecks and barriers to implementation. 

You can provide feedback on the consultation website by completing a survey and uploading a submission.

Webinars

The webinars will be held on Monday 13 November and Tuesday 14 November. Information sessions will be recorded and published.
