What’s this about?

A Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (BFRMP) is a document that identifies bush fire risk to communities and ways of reducing the impact of fires across an area to keep people safe and protect the things we value.

The Castlereagh Bush Fire Management Committee, made up of fire agencies, land managers, and other stakeholders have been working hard to find ways to reduce the impact of fires in the Warrumbungle and Gilgandra Local Government Areas.

Their goal is to protect lives, homes, businesses, agriculture, the environment, and other important things in this area.

Your feedback is important! By planning together, we will help shape the Bush Fire Risk Management Plan for this area for the next 5 years.
