What’s this about?

The National Parks and Wildlife Service wants to hear from you about some changes they're thinking of making to Ben Boyd National Park and Bell Bird Creek Nature Reserve.

They have put together a draft amendment to their plan of management, and they want your input.

Here's what's going on:

  • Light-to-Light Walk change
    • They're thinking of changing something on the Light-to-Light Walk, but they want to know what you think about it. They've looked at how it might affect the environment, how much it will cost, and if it's actually doable. Based on that, they're rethinking their original idea.
  • Name change
    • They're also thinking about calling the area 'Beowa National Park' and making a few other small name changes. This is because it's what the traditional owners want.

If you have any thoughts on these changes, now's your chance to share them.
