What’s this about?

The Department of Environment invites feedback on a proposed licence for the Great Lakes Sailing Club in Booti Booti National Park.

We are considering granting a licence to the Great Lakes Sailing Club Incorporated (ABN 69 419 580 740).

This licence would allow the club to:

  • exclusive use the sailing club building
  • non-exclusive use the area marked in red in the diagram below
  • run recreational and sporting activities related to the club.

These activities include club training, event days, fundraising activities and meetings.

The licence may be granted for an initial term of 10 years, with the possibility of a 10-year extension, totaling a potential 20-year term.

We want to hear from you about the proposed licence. Your feedback will help us make a decision that balances the interests of the club and the public.
