About the Project

The Food Distribution Centre and Community Garden Project delivers a new food distribution facility and community garden allowing the charity to provide up to 15,000 meals a week to disadvantaged communities. The project will serve as the dedicated headquarters for the charity providing emergency crisis relief and referral services to the food insecure and socio-economically disadvantaged across Western Sydney. 

Project Scope

  • Large commercial-grade kitchen (15-20 people) with fridges & freezers
  • Community garden
  • Garage and warehouse
  • Interview room, call centre, 5 office/counselling Rooms
  • Board room, print room & training room 
  • Toilets (including disability accessible and wet/shower room)
  • 5 car parking spaces, plus internal truck and van parking 
  • Solar energy capability 
  • Breakout space for visitors, volunteers and workers
