About the Project

The Aspect Therapy and Community Services Hub Project delivers a new purpose-built Autism friendly Community Connection Hub to provide much needed services to people on the autism spectrum of all ages. Aspect has identified a significant need for autism specific services in Southwestern Sydney, due to long waitlists for both diagnostic autism assessments as well as therapy services including occupational and speech therapy, behaviour, social and family support.

Project Scope

The project features:

  • Community Connection Hub building including an undercover outdoor area for recreational purposes, a sensory play area/garden and associated parking.
  • Reception and waiting area
  • Assessment and therapy rooms
  • Multipurpose hall/workshop space
  • Amenities
  • Kitchen and staff room
  • Autism friendly Quiet Room/adult meeting space
  • Administration space
  • Storage
