Fernadell Park and Community Facility Development Project

About the Project

The Fernadell Park Masterplan Project will focus on improving sporting and recreation facilities for the Pitt Town and surrounding community. The facilities will provide for the growing need for facilities that cater to male and female football and cricket players. 

The project aligns with the Football NSW and Cricket NSW strategic guidelines for sporting facilities catered to all ages and both male and female participants, as well as Hawkesbury City Council's Community Strategic Plan to encourage and enable the community to participate in a healthy lifestyle.

Project Scope

The project will include:

  • New multi-purpose fields and courts for Football and Cricket including practice nets
  • Sports lighting, irrigation and drainage 
  • Provision for off-street parking
  • Toilets and change rooms suitable for female and male players
  • Kiosk/equipment storage
  • Integrated community space and public accessible toilets
  • District level inclusive play space
  • Shelters, BBQ amenities, and associates items
  • Outdoor Fitness equipment
  • Youth facility
  • Associated paths
