Neighbourhood Park Upgrade Project

About the Project

The Neighbourhood Park Upgrade Project will deliver upgrades a total of 16 parks. Upgrades will include, play equipment (including transitioning to nature-based play where appropriate), accessibility upgrades – including pathways, seating, play and parking spaces, social interaction upgrades (seating/meeting places), exercise equipment (where appropriate), and signage.

Project Scope

The project will deliver:

  • New play Equipment - including inclusive and transitioning to nature-based play (where appropriate)
  • Accessibility upgrades – including pathways, seating and parking spaces
  • Social interaction upgrades - seating/meeting places
  • Exercise equipment to cater for the older demographic
  • Landscaping and tree planting
  • Water sensitive urban design outcomes
  • Improved signage
