Greater West Sydney Oasis – Community Centre & Arts and Cultural Hub Project

About the Project

The Greater West Sydney Oasis project will deliver a new community arts and cultural centre to support the areas of disadvantage in Western Sydney. The project features an arts and culture community centre, a community services hub, an indoor play area, a commercial café and outdoor green space. A diverse range of 23 services will work together to address current challenges and disadvantages facing families and individuals.

Project Scope

  • An accessible, one-stop-shop for strategic services, affordable groceries and cultural programs with amenity suitable to the changing local environment, including: 
    • New businesses (café, children’s indoor play centre, Foodbank supermarket and Performing Arts Centre)
    • Diverse services targeting a range of life domains, representing extensive cost benefits in areas such as reduced cost to health services and increased local employment.
