The Storm and Flood Industry Recovery Program (SFIRP) is delivered in two targeted streams:
- Sector Recovery and Resilience Grant (NOW CLOSED): approximately $30 million for medium to longer-term recovery and resilience projects that will support industry-wide recovery, with a focus on building resilience and preparedness for future natural disasters.
- Supply Chain Support Grant (NOW CLOSED): approximately $50 million - to help primary producers and primary production enterprises to rebuild and recover in the medium to longer-term with the aim of supporting job security, future resilience and enabling future production.
The SFIRP Supply Chain Support Grant is being administered by Rural Assistance Authority. Funding complements the $75,000 Special Disaster Grant and supports NSW’s agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture industries to rebuild and recover in the medium and longer-term.
The amount of funding available to eligible producers in targeted industries varies by industry and a 50:50 financial and/or in-kind co-contribution from applicants is required.
