The $3 million Regional Media Fund Round 2 (RMF2) is part of the NSW Government’s continuing commitment to regional NSW communities, designed to support innovation and sustainability for regional and rural NSW newspapers.

Program objective
The purpose of the RMF2 is to improve long term sustainability of rural and regional newspapers by encouraging innovation in business, creation of employment pathways and diversification across all operational areas, including printing and production, to enable the delivery of diverse and relevant regional news and current affairs to rural and regional communities.
