Meet Kathy and Val
We spoke to sisters Kathy and Val about the joy and fulfillment that comes from being grandparents.
Like many, Kathy and Val cherish the special bond they share with their grandchildren. Through laughter, a few tears, and heartwarming stories, one thing was clear: they absolutely adore being grandparents.
Between them, they have 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. What they love most is watching their grandchildren grow from babies into adults, seeing who they become, and experiencing the unconditional love they receive—along with plenty of cuddles and kisses.
Kathy’s favourite memories are when the whole family comes together for special celebrations. Val treasures the times spent watching TV shows, singing and clapping along to The Wiggles, reading, and playing games.
For both, the best part of being a grandparent is having the freedom to spoil their grandchildren without time restraints. Above all, they want their grandchildren to always feel deeply loved.
