This resource hub has been developed for councils, community groups, local services and businesses to help NSW residents prepare for emergencies and disasters. We have developed a suite of tailored resources that you can incorporate into your preparedness initiatives.

You can utilise these communication resources by selecting and customising them to complement your preparedness activities for your audiences and local areas. We also recommend you check back in on this page as we will be updating the hub with more resources for you to download and use across your channels.

Are these assets available for anyone to download?
Anyone can download the assets on the resource hub. Click on the type of resource you want to download and select the ‘title’ of the resource, and it will begin downloading onto your computer or device.
How many can I download?
You can download as many assets as you need, there is no limit.
What should I do with these assets?
These assets have been developed to assist organisations with their preparedness initiatives for their communities. These assets can be distributed across various platforms to provide essential information on how to prepare for disasters and where they can go to find more information. 
You can download assets from our Social Media Resources page as an example and share them instantly with your online audiences.
I need translated assets, where can I find them?
You can visit our Translated Resources page by clicking here, or alternatively the card above titled ‘Translated Resources’. If you require assets translated in a language that we haven’t provided, please reach out to our team and we will endeavour to help you with your request.
I need more help, who can I contact?

You can contact us via the button in the Get in Touch section of the resource hub. Alternatively, you can email us with any enquiry at GetReadyNSW@reconstruction.nsw.gov.au 

I would like to put my logo on the collateral, can I do this?
Yes you can. There are posters that can be customised with your organisation's logo in the top right hand corner and call to actions that are relevant to your audience.
Are the resources free to download and use?

Yes they are free. There are no costs associated with downloading any of the resources on the hub. You can download as many as you like and use as required.

Where else can I find information about preparing for a disaster to include in my communications?

nsw.gov.au/GetReadyNSW offers a wide range of resources and information that you can use and share with your audience. It also provides links to other organisations such as the Rural Fire Service (RFS), State Emergency Service (SES), and the Australian Red Cross, all of which offer valuable disaster and emergency information for sharing.

Where do I sign up to receive the stakeholder toolkits?
If you’re interested in receiving the communication toolkits, you can register your interest by emailing engagewithus@customerservice.nsw.gov.au and they will ensure you will be added to the recipient list before the next toolkit is sent out.
