Updates have been made to two key words in the glossary.

All non-government schools are required to produce, publicly disclose and submit electronically to NESA a 2024 annual report by Monday 30 June 2025.

NESA has made changes to some ACE Rules. 

Korean Continuers Stage 6 will not be discontinued in 2026. There is risk of discontinuation for Korean and Literature Stage 6 in 2028 and risk of discontinuation for Indonesian Extension Stage 6 in 2027.

The doors have opened on Shape at the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, revealing more than 50 mind-blowing works from tech students of the 2024 Higher School Certificate. 

The format of the answer booklet or writing booklet for some HSC examinations has been revised. Samples of the revised answer booklets or writing booklets are now available.

Sample online exams for the HSC English Extension 1 and 2 courses are now available. A demonstration video showing features of the online exams has also been published. 

NAPLAN testing begins today for at least 380,000 NSW students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9.

NESA is retiring the ACE Online website on 19 March 2025 and redirecting users to the clarified ACE Rules.

Marking guidelines for the Enterprise Computing and Software Engineering HSC sample examinations are available.
