Sample online exams for the HSC English Extension 1 and 2 courses are now available. A demonstration video showing features of the online exams has also been published.

Sample online exams for the English Extension 1 and 2 HSC courses are now available.

The sample online exams provide examples of some types of questions that may be found in the English Extension 1 and 2 HSC exams, which will be delivered online for the first time in 2027. They provide a preview of how exam questions may be presented and answered in an online environment.

Marking guidelines for the sample online exams are provided. The marking guidelines indicate the criteria associated with each mark or mark range. The marking guidelines include mapping grids to show how the sample questions relate to syllabus outcomes and content.

A video demonstrating features of the English Extension 1 and 2 online HSC exams has also been published. This video supplements the existing collection of videos that demonstrate features of online HSC exams.
