Stage 6 VET syllabuses have been amended to allow access to current Training Package qualifications and units of competency.
Automotive, Construction and Entertainment Industry Stage 6 VET syllabuses have been amended to allow access to current Training Package qualifications and units of competency. These changes are reflected in a corresponding Amendment document.
Amendment documents apply to students who commenced the 240-hour course in 2021 and are completing the course in 2022, as well as students who will undertake the 240-hour course in one year in 2022.
For each Framework, the Amendment must be read in conjunction with the ‘old’ (existing) syllabus, available for final year of delivery with Year 12, 2022. The 2022 HSC exams will be based on the HSC content in the ‘old’ syllabuses.
Students completing the 240-hour course in 2022 through the Amendment, will be eligible to sit for the 2022 HSC exam, which provides the opportunity for students to have this HSC exam mark contribute to the calculation of their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
The version log for each Framework provides further detail:
Schools and colleges should consult with their school system and/or registered training organisation (RTO) regarding these amendments and delivery of courses from these Framework for their students in 2022.
