School registration manuals have been updated under section 25 of the Education Standards Authority Act 2013.
The Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual, the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and the Registration Process for the NSW Government Schooling System Manual have all been amended.
The amended Manuals are approved by the Minister for Education and Early Childhood as rules of NESA under section 25 of the Education Standards Authority Act 2013.
Between March and June 2019, key stakeholders reviewed the evidence of compliance in the Manuals from a risk perspective.
The resulting amendments to the Manuals reduce and clarify the required evidence of compliance that must be maintained in relation to:
