2017 Amendments to Non-government School Registration Manuals – Financial Viability

In March 2017, NESA published amendments to the Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual (‘the Manuals’) with regard to the new registration requirement for financial viability (see NESA Official Notice 17/17).
The amendments apply to section 3.9.4 of the Manual for individual non-government schools and 5.9.4 of the Manual for systemic non-government schools.
The Minister for Education has approved these amendments as rules of NESA under section 25 of the Education Standards Authority Act 2013.
These rules take effect with the publication of this Official Notice.
