Find out about amendments to NSW Registered and Accredited Non-government schools financial viability requirements.
The Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual have been amended with regard to the new registration requirement for financial viability.
The amendments provide further guidance for schools and identify the evidence to be provided at the time of making an application for initial or renewed registration based on a NESA risk assessment approach.
The amended Manuals reference the NESA registration website (RANGS) where supplementary materials are available. These include:
The amendments apply to section 3.9.4 of the Manual for individual non-government schools and section 5.9.4 of the Manual for systemic non-government schools.
The amended Manuals take effect with the publication of this Official Notice.
