Minutes of the HSCG meeting on 20 January 2016 were accepted.
It was agreed that the minutes of future HSCG meetings could be confirmed out of session, as necessary.
It was agreed that the minutes would be published on the BOSTES website by way of a link on the HSCG webpage.
HSCG email addresses have now been established for members and will be published on the HSCG webpage on the BOSTES website. Instructions will be provided to HSCG members for accessing their email address.
HSCG members attached to a university need to consider and declare, if relevant, ‘any pecuniary interests’ for any research projects related to the work of the HSCG.
Action arising
The BOSTES to email minutes of the HSCG meeting to seek confirmation out of session.
Confirmed minutes will be published.
The BOSTES to publish HSCG member email addresses.
The BOSTES to provide instructions for HSCG members for accessing email address.
The BOSTES Home Schooling Data Reports were considered.
It was agreed that the reports be published on the BOSTES website.
Part of the discussion included other possible data reports. One example discussed was adding information about withdrawn applications to the data on registration application outcomes.
The BOSTES will consider providing additional reports, as discussed depending on the availability of data sources. It was agreed that members could provide suggestions for further data reports.

The BOSTES to publish home schooling reports.

The BOSTES to provide an update on the additional reports that were discussed.
Members considered a proposed process for revising the 2013 Registration for Home Schooling in NSW – Information Package.
It was agreed that the proposed process and time frame be accepted.
It was agreed that the process be published on the BOSTES website.
Action arising
The BOSTES to publish the consultation process for revising the Information Package.
The BOSTES to commence the consultation process, as per the published process.
It was agreed that members could provide suggestions for developing materials to support the development of educational programs for home schooling.
