Classroom management and students with special education needs report

This report evaluates the approach initial teacher education providers take when delivering courses on classroom management and special education to student teachers. Learn about the findings and recommendations to improve education in these two priority areas.

The report reviewed the content, pedagogical approaches and assessment practices across 17 NSW initial teacher education (ITE) providers.

The report makes recommendations for areas where ITE programs may be further developed, improved or enhanced to reflect current best practice in classroom management and teaching students with special education needs.
