Video sharing apps
YouTube, You Tube Kids and Vimeo are the most widely used video sharing applications. Here’s a quick overview:
A user-generated video sharing application, YouTube allows people to view, share and comment on videos from all over the world. It's the second-most visited website on the internet, after Google.
- Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years old. Some videos can only be viewed by users who are 18 or over.

YouTube Kids uses filters powered by algorithms to select videos from YouTube suitable for children.
- Age requirement: Children must be at least 4 years old. Parents will be asked to choose the appropriate age level of videos for your child to view when you first open the app. Once you've selected the level, the home page will show videos that may interest children in that age range.

Vimeo is an online platform where people can post and watch their videos, like YouTube.
- Age requirement: Anyone can access your videos unless you have restricted access to them. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
