- When the master of a recreational vessel wishers to temporarily secure the vessel to a mooring, free of charge.
- A courtesy mooring may not be used by a commercial operator. A commercial operator is the master of a vessel used for, or in connection with, any type of business, trade or commerce. Commercial vessels may include: fishing vessels, tourist/charter boats, work boats, ferries, water taxis, dive boats and sailing school vessels.
