Asphalt batch plant operations and noise wall installation in North Boambee Valley

The Coffs Harbour bypass has built a temporary asphalt batch plant on North Boambee Road. This plant will only provide asphalt for the project and will be removed after bypass construction is completed.

As part of major construction, the project team sought agreement from impacted residents to operate the asphalt plant, outside of approved construction hours, this agreement has now been approved. 

To help mitigate impacts for nearby residents, we are starting to build the noise wall in this area in March 2025.
