Robyn Taylor is a proud Kungabula woman, born and raised on Dharug land, with over 25 years’ experience in Aboriginal communities. She currently works with Uniting in Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.
In 2019, she founded Burbaga Burawa to address chronic health conditions in Aboriginal communities, including diabetes, obesity, heart disease and mental health. Robyn volunteers her time to secure annual funding for two 10-week programs, which engage over 120 participants, offering nutrition education, physical activity and mental health support in a culturally safe space.
Her passion is to continue to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal communities by having a free health program accessible all year round.
