The Hon. Lea Drake, Acting Commissioner of the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission is conducting an inquiry into matters relating to various complaints concerning Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) under Part 8 of the Greyhound Racing Act 2017. The purpose of the Inquiry is to ensure a viable and sustainable greyhound racing industry in NSW with the highest standards of integrity and animal welfare.
The Hon. Lea Drake has been appointed as an Acting Commissioner of The Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission in order to conduct the Inquiry.
The Minister for Gaming and Racing has asked Acting Commissioner Drake to report back to him by 13 December 2024.
