People with an opioid dependence can receive a medicated treatment program as part of an outpatient service of Nepean Hospital.
About us
We offer free, non-judgemental services and treatments for drug and alcohol use, including information and support for families.
The Gateway Clinic provides treatment programs including:
- dosing for methadone (methadone syrup), buprenorphine (subutex) buprenorphine and naloxone (suboxone film) and buprenorphine injection (buvidal and sublocade) when appropriate
- medical consultations
- counselling and case management
- ongoing support

To make an appointment for any of our drug and alcohol services or to be assessed for suitability for the opioid treatment program, contact the clinic or call the 24-hour Central Drug and Alcohol Intake Line on 1300 661 050.
Clinic services, specialists and hours
The clinic is open from 6:45am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Dosing for opioid treatment program clients is available 7 days a week from 6:45am to 12:30pm.
Smoke-free policy
All our hospitals and locations are smoke-free. Smoking anywhere on the grounds may result in a $300 fine. View our policy.
