About us
The Koorana Maternity unit at Blue Mountains Hospital is a Level 3 maternity and Level 2 neonatal facility providing comprehensive antenatal, birthing and postnatal services. This includes the know Your Midwife (MAPS program) home visiting for antenatal and postnatal midwifery care.

A GP referral required.

Services, clinics and hours
There are a number of services and clinics available to support you throughout your pregnancy.

| Gynaecology clinic | Twice weekly |
| Antenatal assessment service | 24 hours, 7 day a week |
| Inpatient labour and birthing care (and theatres if required) | 24 hours, 7 day a week |
Services after birth
After the birth 24/7 postnatal care in single rooms is provided.
There is a Level 2 nursery for babies that require special clinical care.
On discharge from the hospital we offer women a 'Midwifery in the Home service' where your known midwife will provide ongoing support and education in the comfort of your home.
