Hunter New England Research Office

The Hunter New England Research Office supports and promotes high-quality health and medical research within our District. 

Our key activities include:

  • Facilitating research by assisting researchers with the necessary approvals, ethics submissions, and governance processes.
  • Providing resources by offering resources and support, training, funding opportunities, and access to research networks. 
  • Promoting collaboration between researchers, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to encourage innovative and impactful research. 
  • Enhancing patient care is the goal of our research efforts, and to improve patient care and health outcomes across our District.

Research-related complaints

Any research-related complaints or concerns (including ethical concerns) within our District can be raised with the Hunter New England Human Research Ethics Committee for investigation. 

Please note: Address all research-related complaints to the "HREC Executive Officer". You can post or email it to the Hunter New England Research office.
