Offering day programs and 6-week residential stays, the Recovery Centre is a 10-bedroom facility that provides mental health support and coaching to people looking to improve their wellbeing.
About the facility
When you contact our service, you will be offered an appointment to talk with staff about yourself and your situation so we can see what service you need and how quickly you need it. We will help you understand your options.
It is not a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, but the Recovery Centre is an important part of the continuum of integrated mental health, drug and alcohol services in the Far West.
We work closely with the acute mental health unit, community mental health and drug and alcohol services, supported accommodation providers and other key partners.
Our peer and community support workers guide participants on a path from self-discovery to wellness.
The service provides early intervention for people becoming unwell in the community (step up) and for those in the early stages of recovery from an acute episode in the inpatient unit (step down).
