myHome Planner
The myHome Planner empowers people with the critical information they need when deciding to build a new home.
Homeowners need timely information and support when building a new home
Buying or building a home is one of life’s biggest and most often, stressful times. The myHome Planner empowers people with the critical information they need when deciding to build a new home, combining information from 48 different government sites, providing key resources to research, plan and design a new home.
How is myHome Planner making a difference?
myHome Planner utilises community insights to develop a one-stop-shop approach to building a home.
It brings together specific, detailed council information, zoning rating (impact density levels for any development), easements, developer guidelines including maximum building heights, floor to space ratios, minimum block size (needed to be met for subdivision) and additional information specific to the block of land or areas. Planning controls impacting a site are also identified, such as bushfire, heritage orders and flood prone areas, and if there are any geographical features that need to be considered during the building process.
Using place-based information, the myHome Planner provides support to NSW residents to make more informed decisions at every stage in the building of a new home on a vacant block of land.
