Aboriginal Business Roundtable reports

The NSW Coalition of Aboriginal Peak Organisations (CAPO) and Aboriginal Affairs NSW (AANSW) have worked together to continue community consultations.

The feedback was consistent; there is a need for Aboriginal business growth to be a priority, starting with a deeper understanding of the challenges Aboriginal businesses face.

This saw the launch of Aboriginal Business Roundtables in 2021. These roundtables are at the heart of the NSW Roadmap for Aboriginal Business Growth. The Roadmap process will play a key role in accountability of the NSW Government’s approach to Aboriginal business growth.

The most recent Aboriginal Business Roundtable was held in Parramatta, on Wednesday 30 October 2024 and was our largest event to date.  

The focus of the October 2024 Roundtable was: Business Growth, Sustainability and Renewable Energy, and featured keynote presentations, a panel discussion and a new Opportunities Hub delivered by leading government representatives and private sector organisations.
