Conveyor belt testing
We test underground coal mine conveyor belts to determine if they are safe to use in hazardous environment.
We are National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited for testing to AS 4606, AS 1334.9, AS 1334.10, AS 1334.11 and AS 1334.12.

Type testing of conveyor belting and accessories for underground coal mining applications
We test to AS 4606:2012 and some of our test services include:
testing to AS 1332, AS 1333, AS 1334 methods 9 to 12 AS/NZS 4606
testing of belting accessories such as scrapers, pulley and pulley laggings, skirtings, splices, and liners, for fire-resistant and antistatic (FRAS) properties
testing of conveyor belt idlers to MDG3608
fire testing of hoses to AS 1180.10B and SAE J 1942.
Facilities for conveyor belt and accessories testing
We carry out type tests for underground coal mining applications to AS/NZS 4606, and other tests to parts of AS 1334.
We also do testing in accordance to MDG 3608.
Belting accessories such as scrapers, skirting, liners and lagging materials can be tested for fire-resistant and antistatic properties.
