This grant supports a world-leading bushfire and natural hazards technology network by actively fostering the commercial development of technologies and services to better prepare NSW for future bushfires.

This is a single round, competitive technology development and commercialisation program funded by the Future Economy Fund’s Commercialisation Pathways Program, which drives the commercialisation of highly innovative ideas into new products, processes or services.

This program helps technology businesses in the scaleup phase of their growth establish themselves in the Tech Central innovation and technology precinct by providing a rebate on eligible rental costs and fitout costs.

Funding is available to progress new and innovative devices and systems towards commercialisation within NSW across the branches of the biological sciences, including biomanufacturing, genetic engineering, synthetic biology, and agrifood.
