Illawarra Quilters Craft Expo - with Illawarra Woodworkers

Textile craft and quilt displays, demonstrations, mini workshops and sale items by Illawarra Quilters with a pop up shop by Shoalhaven Quilting. Also display and sale of items by local Woodworkers. Morning and Afternoon Teas available.

Illawarra Quilters do much more than just patchwork. We knit, embroider, crochet and strongly support our local community. There will be Quilts on display, Small Make & Take workshops, demonstrations of textile craft techniques, sale of fabric/notions and made items by members and retail outlets. Our major Raffle Quilt for 2025 has been kindly donated by Prize Winning Quilter Suzanne Mortenson. Morning and Afternoon Teas will be available. Other Groups demonstrating at this years' Expo include the Wollongong Woodworkers and the Wollongong Spinners and Weavers. This is a great opportunity to come along and see what we do in a friendly and inclusive setting. Illawarra Quilters meet regularly for sewing and social activities and welcome new members.
