About our aged care services
Murrumbidgee LHD can assist with:
- Dementia care and Parkinson's support
- Residential aged care (accessed through My Aged Care)
- Geriatric and psychogeriatric (branch of healthcare concerned with mental illness in elderly people) medicine
- Aged care assessment services via the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and the Regional Assessment Service (RAS). Both services are accessed through My Aged Care
- Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) - helps older people regain their physical and psycho-social (a combination of psychological and social factors) functioning after a hospital stay
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services - this includes community nursing, occupational therapy (OT) and podiatry.

My Aged Care helps you access Australian Government-funded aged care services.
It provides:

It can assist with:
- meals
- nursing
- transport
- respite care
- personal care
- social activities
- domestic assistance
- home care packages
- residential aged care.
