Jindalee National Park draft plan

What’s this about?

Public exhibition of the Jindalee National Park draft plan of management has been extended to 11 February 2025.

The park is located on the traditional country of the Wiradjuri people, approximately 10km north of Cootamundra in the South Western Slopes region of NSW. The park protects significant cultural heritage values and biodiversity values, and provides opportunities for public recreation and nature appreciation.

The Jindalee National Park draft plan of management proposes objectives and operations to achieve:

• the protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage and natural values
• the continued recovery of threatened and rare ecosystems and species
• opportunities for nature-based visitor activities including mountain bike riding, camping, walking, and horse riding.
