Natural disaster declarations

After a disaster, affected areas may be included in a natural disaster declaration. Disaster declarations are assigned an Australian Government reference number (AGRN) to help people access recovery funding.

Emergency management plans (EMPLANs) hold information on state, region and council preparations to manage risk and disaster responses.
